Xeno Nui
Spoiler ahead. Highlight the text to read, if you wish.
Xeno Nui actually has very little recorded history. Below is the false history of this island.
Xeno Nui was once a tiny speck of land in the Southern Island Chains of Aqua Magna. It was entirely untouched by the millenia of war, infighting, and chaos that plagued the rest of the planet. Even the Great Cataclysm had little effect on this tiny slice of paradise, for it was so remote.
Though an island surrounded by water, it contained lush forests, mines, caves, and a single tall mountain. As such, this extremely varied terrain attracted Matoran of all elements to settle here. Le-Matoran would be drawn to the jungles, Onu-, Po-, and Fe-Matoran were all entranced by the tunnels and caves. Ta-Matoran would follow the Po- and Fe-Matoran as they excavated the land's riches, so they could work with the raw metal. Ga-Matoran, of course, had always been on Xeno Nui due to the nearby ocean. Su-Matoran, too, are native to Xeno Nui due to the hot climate. The last of the native Matoran are the Bo-Matoran, as the many forests are a perfect home for them. Ko-Matoran would spend their days on the foothills of Mt. Atlas, the island's tallest peak. De-Matoran would invariably tail the Ko-Matoran, as the mountain offered peace and quiet. Even Av-Matoran come to bask in the sun, as they are drawn to bright places.
The weather on Xeno Nui was nothing short of spectacular. Dazzling sun, with warm winters. There were kilometers upon kilometers of sandy beaches, complete with palm and coconut trees and water so clear it seemed nearly invisible.
In human terms, this was the "BIONICLE Bahamas".
Upon the reformation of Spherus Magna, Xeno Nui was split into two large halves, with tiny bits of land breaking off. The mountainous lands would form North Xeno. The jungles would becomes South Xeno. Fortunately, these islands are separated only by a thin strip of water. In addition, Agori came to live on Xeno Nui. Like the Matoran, they could not help but succumb to this tropical island's allure. The Matoran and Agori co-exist happily, and treat each other every bit as equals.
Life was, more or less, the same as it had been before.
The rest of Xeno Nui's history is found in the Madness Series.

The Township of Haven
Haven is the capital of Xeno Nui. It has a population of nearly half of all of Xeno Nui, 2095.
Haven has been described as a miniature Metru Nui. It has everything: foundries, museums, a bustling marketplace, schools, quarries, even laboratories. Truly, the Township of Haven is aptly named indeed. It's a quaint little town that is at the edge of every Matoran's, and even Agori's, dreams.
The Town of Haven was established well before the Great Cataclysm. The population has been kept artificially low for millenia simply due to remoteness, and to the fact that is is very, very rare for biomechanical beings to mate. (Though, there hase been the odd case in the history of Haven now and then...)
It is not until recently, relatively speaking, that non-native Matoran began to catch wind of Xeno Nui and subsequently flood the island. It was only natural for the Matoran, and later the Agori, to congregate in the largest settlement at the time, Haven. And, so, Haven grew from a tiny village of huts into a rustic, charming walled town.
Haven, as was said above, was like a mini Metru Nui,
The Foundries provide work for the Ta-Matoran and Su-Matoran. The Foundries are where all metalcrafting takes place, including mask-making and tool-making. The Fire Agori have also taken a liking to the heat from the Foundries.
The nearby Refineries, as well as the Quarries just outside the town give jobs to Po-Matoran and Fe-Matoran. The Quarries also attract Onu-Matoran. The Quarries contain sizable deposits of iron, coal, silver, traces of solid protodermis, and some lightstones.
The Schools and Labs are located near each other, and are home to the Ga-Matoran and Ko-Matoran, respectively. Both are places of learning, and not only Ga- and Ko-Matoran attend these facilities. Matoran of all elemtents and Agori of different tribes all come together to quench their thrist for knowledge.
The Marketplace is where goods can be sold or traded. Le-Matoran and Jungle Agori love this high-energy environment. Most of the merchants are Le-Matoran, who have come from the south, where their jungle-filled homes lie.
Libraries and Museums can be found in the north-wester corner of Haven. Onu-Matoran who were once Archivists have a field day in these buildings.
Lastly, a huge park lies dominates a whole block in Haven. Bo-Matoran love it, and many act as gardeners, carefully tending to the plants in the park.
There is also a city hall in Haven. For the last three terms, Haven's mayor had been Su-Matoran. Currently, the mayor is a grizzled old war veteran, a Bo-Matoran. The mayor faces stiff opposition from two parties, one led by a Ta-Matoran, and the other headed by a Ga-Matoran.
